Let me Fucking introduce Myself.

I am not a huge fan of profanity, but it does help me drive my point across, so I cannot -not-but help use it. I am also lactose intolerant, a fact I had to discover by myself  rather painfully. 

My name is Mona Ahmed Abdi. I am 20, awfully smart, terribly stupid, a rather funny paradox and you might think so too, unless you meet me while I am suffering from a migraine. I have a god-like complex, but I also do not love myself that much on weekdays but still do appreciate myself more than the average Jane or (halimo) , I do not drive, have no real possessions and my parents deem me a huge failure, emotionally, because I cannot process disappointment like normal people. 

Normal????? What is normalcy anyways? Who the fuck invented it? 

I also have a habit of veering of topics, and I laugh too loud for my liking*cringe*. I turned 20 this year, a rather huge identity crisis, because I felt like I had done everything I was supposed to do in my twenties  in my teen years. 

Depression-check.

Bachelor's degree-check.

First Love?-Check (IDK about this one, felt like a huge faux pas).   

Tribulations involving failed friendships - Check

God, I am a mess, and not a very hot mess. But like the type of mess you just want to keep watching, like how much messier is it going to get.  

But why, you might be asking yourself dear exalted reader( Hahaha, lady whistledown shan't be let down), did I open this blog spot? 

Could be because of my attention seeking ways or simply because I have nothing better to do? Both, but that's besides the main point. It being, I just wanted to write, or perhaps it's me giving into my GEN Z oversharing tendencies. Either way, welcome to the slowest, most unsatisfactory ride of your entire life. 

This BlogSpot is for me, my ranting, my life lessons, my rather sad attempts at poetry and everything else in between. 

I won't write magic, English is my third language and fuck you if you judge me for it.

 Boy; has it been an eventful start to 24, I mean truly eventful. In a small corner in my mother's heart a crack will appear that I am ending another year yet single. Ever since my sister's wedding and subsequent marriage, the people have become relentless. The questions at odd with their slightly demented expressions, "When are you getting married?", "Are you seeing anyone?", "You're not getting any younger you know", "The earlier you have kids the better you'll recover", and my favorite one so far, "You should say yes to the young gentlemen I know are vying for your attention".
